New, 3-level, 102,000 sf large animal complex containing BSL-2, ABSL-2, BSL-3, ABSL-3, and ABSL-3 research laboratories. This project includes research office space with 2-level atrium. The primary structure is ultra-low shrinkage cast-in-place concrete with concrete flat plate ceiling/interstitial floor. The roof and office wing are conventional steel construction for flexibility and efficiency.
