New, 210,000 sf Veterinary Medical School including life science research area containing lab & research space, small animal holding facility, and large animal holding facility. The project includes multiple specialty education buildings distributed over two locations.
Rice University Hanszen Addition
New, 5-story, 50,000 sf Mass Timber residential college replacing the existing resident hall. Elevated floors consist of concrete topping slabs over CLT decking while beams and columns are glulam timber.
Rice University Architecture Department Expansion at Cannady Hall
New, 20,000 sf annex building providing additional space for Rice School of Architecture teaching, exhibitions, and research. Open concept with exposed structure includes a new level 2 connector to Anderson Hall that spans above the existing ornamental arcade structure.
Texas A&M University Gateway Education Center at RELLIS Phase II
New, 45,000 sf, 3 level continuation of the Phase I project includes large lecture space with tiered seating, medium lecture hall, engineering laboratories, general-purpose laboratories, support space, and faculty/staff offices. The primary structure is conventional steel with composite concrete floor slabs. The roof structure consists of Pre-engineered light-gauge metal trusses.
